About the Event
God has blessed us so generously. Let's be good stewards of these gifts by tending to our whole selves: body, mind and spirit. This summer join us for the WHOLE Body Summer Wellness Series. Together we will...
- Strengthen our physical bodies with intentional movement and quality nutrition
- Strengthen our minds with breathing exercises, meditation, and engaging conversations
- Strengthen our spirits with shared devotionals, community prayer, and Christian fellowship
This eight-week series includes:
1) Weekly, Wednesday morning COMMUNITY GATHERINGS from 9:30-10am on Zoom that include guided stretch, devotional time, and community prayer. If you like Play & Pray, you will LOVE this.
2) Two NUTRITION CLASSES taught by food educator and nutrition expert, Amber Harmony Crowley. Classes will focus on GUT HEALTH and ANTI-INFLAMMATORY NUTRITION and be held on Zoom. (Tentative dates: June 14 & July 26; 7-8:30pm EST)
3) Weekly GUIDED STRETCH VIDEOS designed to enhance flexibility, balance and mobility.
4) Weekly recorded MEDITATION AND BREATHING EXERCISES designed to reduce stress and increase mindful awareness. Research demonstrates this can lower blood pressure, improve sleep quality, and enhance cognitive function.
5) A Spotify PLAYLIST designed to inspire you throughout the summer.
